Blockout Curtains are ideal for bedrooms where room darkening is required.
They have excellent insulating and sound control properties.
They can be made in a S/Fold finish with 100% fullness or as a Pencil Pleated finish with a 200% fullness that it will give a modern and stylish look and maximum protection from heat and cold.
With the choice of fabric and colour and with wall to wall and ceiling to floor options, team them up with either Sheer Curtains or a Sunscreen Roller Blind you will have a modern look you’re looking for.

Before you start to measure for your New Sheer/Blockout Curtains, determine how you want the curtains to look and try to picture the finished product and measure accordingly.
Tip: If your windows are on the low side consider to install your curtains higher than the top of the architrave , to give sence of space and focus to the height of the room. The wider you go and the higher you go will give your room a grandeur and luxurious look.
All measurements to be in millimetres and DON’T make any allowances as the factory will do that for you to ensure proper fit of your new furnishings. Please measure twice to make sure you have measured correctly.
1. Once you decide where your curtain is going to be fitted the measure that area , if you want wall to wall cover then measure that area , if you want only to go past the window slightly say 300mm past the arc on each side then measure the width of your window then add the extra amount that you want to extend.
E.g. window is 2000mm wide plus extended amount 600mm then the total width of the track will be 2600mm
2. Once you are happy with the width of the track you need to nominate is it a ceiling fix (top fit) or wall fix (face fit)
3. Now measure the height of the window (where you want the curtain to hang from) either ceiling to floor or partially above the architrave. Ceiling fit is for walls with no cornices (square set) or Wall fit is for installs with cornices .
4. You need to decide how you want the curtain to function either one way draw (left or right) or centre opening.
Tip: Please be aware the stack back of S/Fold curtains takes up space approximately 30% of the total width of your track. E.G if the track size is 2000mm than the stack back will be 600mm either 300mm on each side or 600mm one side.
Any tracks ordered over 3000mm wide will be supplied in two pieces with a joiner for easy transport purpose.
